The Recruitment, Training & Support Center (RTSC), of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC). The RTSC facilitates the NHSC's mission of providing clinicians who care for communities in need by providing an assortment of support services to both clinicians and NHSC designated sites. We are here to make your NHSC placement experience as efficient and enriching as possible. We look forward to working with you during your placement cycle to assist you in the match process, follow-up on sites that you have sent your CV and verify HRSA scores amongst other things.

The RTSC's Program Advisors will personally guide and assist you in a variety of NHSC program and placement activities which include:

• Facilitating the process of identifying potential practice sites and helping you throughout the placement process
• Maintaining your current contact information
• Locating, completing and forwarding NHSC time sensitive materials regarding placement

The NHSC awarded a contract to provide added assistance to Scholars going through the placement cycle, as well as recruit and assist NHSC sites. The Recruitment, Training and Support Center (RTSC) evolved from this contract. Divided into three groups--operations, technology, and customer support--the RTSC offers the following support services:

• Facilitates Scholars' search for sites with job opportunities available, arranging interviews and marketing them to sites
• Offers online training assistance to Scholars to strengthen skills necessary to secure job offers
• Maintains a comprehensive NHSC site job vacancy list
• Recruits new sites, while offering technical assistance and more to existing sites, all while working in conjunction with AHECs, PCOs, and PCAs

Everything from preparing a great resume to making a great first impression at the interview, the RTSC is here to ensure a smooth matching process for Scholars. Remember, however, that because sites on our vacancy list are interviewing many candidates, it's up to you to sell yourself and land the job!
