• LOAN REPAYMENT AND SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE

  The deadline to submit applications for the NHSC’s Loan Repayment and Scholarship Programs is March 25, 2005. Please have your application postmarked no later than March 25, 2005, to be considered for these programs.

• Free Internet Course on Cross-Cultural Communication

  The University of Medicine and Dentistry of the New Jersey School of Public Health, Office of Public Health Practice, in collaboration with the New York New Jersey Public Health Training Center, is offering a free, Web-based interactive learning experience entitled “Communicate to Make a Difference: Exploring Cross-Cultural Communication.” This course introduces different facets of culture and communication in real-world public health scenarios.

• NHSC Chiropractor Demonstration Project

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) is continuing with its Demonstration Project, for FY2005 only, to award loan repayment to a special group of chiropractors who agree to serve underserved populations in primary care health professional shortage areas (HPSAs) throughout the United States.
