• CENTER FOR HEALTH SERVICES FINANCING AND MANAGED CARE
  The rolling 3-month calendar (Nov. 2003 - Jan. 2004) of technical assistance workshops and events is now available.

• RGK (Ronya and George Kozmetsky) FOUNDATION
  Nationwide grants are available for programs that promote the health and well-being of children and families, as well as access to health services. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

• NEW SCHOLARS CONFERENCE OCTOBER 2003
  New Scholars from around the U.S. converged October 24-26 in Hunt Valley, MD, for the annual New Scholars Conference. Staff members, facilitators, Scholars in service, NHSC Alumni, NHSC Ambassadors, and NHSC SEARCH administrators came together to take advantage of this unique opportunity to reaffirm program expectations and commitments; network beyond their disciplines and schools; and get a real sense of what it will be like to serve in areas with health professional shortages. Those who attended found the conference to be an invaluable resource, and a good opportunity to share information and bond with one another.
