- NHSC FY 2005 OPPORTUNITIES LIST
The NHSC has finalized the criteria that will be used to determine site eligibility for the placement of Scholars in the 2005 Placement Cycle and clinicians interested in applying for the NHSC Loan Repayment Program in Fiscal Year 2005. - NATIONAL CHOLESTEROL EDUCATION MONTH
The National Heart, Blood, and Lung Institute will sponsor National Cholesterol Awareness Month (NCAM) throughout September. The theme of this year’s campaign, “Know your cholesterol numbers, know your risk,” emphasizes two of the most important cholesterol guidelines: the importance of having your cholesterol measured and knowing your risk of developing heart disease.

- RURAL DEVELOPMENT/COOPERATION WORKS! FUND
The Rural Development Fund was created within the Cooperative Development Foundation to support projects that answer the needs of rural people. The fund supports projects in rural health care, education, and child care/education. The Cooperative Development Foundation does not have a specific grant application or set of guidelines, since each fund it administers has its own Board of Trustees.
