Notice regarding status of scholarship interview process for 2007-2008 cycle: The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) has decided that the scholarship interview fairs will not be conducted for the 2007 scholarship award cycle.  This decision was reached after consultation with NHSC staff and HRSA personnel.  The cancellation of the interview fairs will not impact on the number of NHSC scholarships that will be awarded during this cycle.
In terms of selection, the only change affecting applicants will be the absence of the interview.  Eligibility requirements, funding priorities, deadlines, etc., remain the same.  Applications from individuals who meet the eligibility criteria will be scored numerically. The highest scoring applicants will be selected for an award.
