NHSC Ambassadors Administration

You have your own personal account for the NHSC Ambassador Program.  To login, visit NHSC Ambassadors Administration and use your email address and the password we e-mailed you last month.  If you forgot your password, no problem, just click the “forgot my password” button and it will be e-mailed to you immediately.  On this site, you will be able to perform a number of activities to assist you in your Ambassador role:

    • You can update your own contact information as it changes. This will ensure that we have an accurate listing of all our Ambassadors.
    • You can order materials to give out when you make presentations either on the campus or in the community.
    • You can inform us of your activities from an easy drop down menu of activities, such as holding an information session, participating in National Primary Care Week and linking students to rotations, to name a few.
    • You can remove yourself from the program and recommend someone in your place, should it be necessary.

Ambassador Blends Goal of Increasing Minority Enrollment with NHSC Mission

For Les Howard, having a sense of mission in one's life is inextricably tied to community and responsibility. This is what he learned growing up disadvantaged himself. It is how he lives his life, and it is the single-most important message that he brings to the students under his careful watch. As program director of the San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) Program he sees himself perfectly positioned to pass on the values and resourcefulness that have inspired his own remarkable life. For Howard, the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) is one of his most important allies in the task of sending the best and brightest of his graduates to care for California's underserved communities.
