CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES:

• Welcome new Loan Repayors to the NHSC family
• Provide mandatory orientation and training opportunities designed to assist Loan Repayors in successfully completing their NHSC Loan Repayor service commitment
• Provide opportunities for NHSC Loan Repayors to collaborate and connect with each other
• Emphasize the importance of cultural competency when caring for culturally diverse populations
• Provide practical resources to make service to the underserved a most fulfilling experience

The NHSC will cover the cost of your travel, lodging, ground transportation, and meal & incidental expenses during the conference.

• NHSC Scholars will gain an understanding of being part of a larger group with the same goal of improving the health of the underserved.
